What Is Tai Chi?
This ancient martial art form is said to have been created by the Taoist monk Zhang Sanfeng in the 12th century. While tai chi means “supreme ultimate fist”, it’s actually evolved to become a form of “meditation in motion” which promotes serenity and inner peace.
There are distinct tai chi styles including Chen-style, Yang-style, Wu-style, and Sun-style. While there are differences between the styles, they all help improve your health and wellbeing. In fact, there are dozens of reasons to try Tai Chi. Let’s take a look at seven of them.
